Interesting that the press release mentions it being the first in a line of special projects.

Yes you can't help thinking this one will be approaching the 150k mark, the new Italian paymasters are aspirational for sure.
Not quite what HFS had in mind I can't help feeling.
My second thought was I wonder how happy the owners of "the last 50year Plus 8's" are going to be about it.

They need to make up for the lower volume of cars produced in 2020. Far easier to make and sell X amount of specials than 500 Plus Fours. Coffers need topping up. Plus it gets them extra media coverage.

- so did MMC buy all the 'spare' chassis that Bristol had left ?
I remember the post re. the winding up and auction of Bristol assets but hadn't realised they had been snapped up by MMC (if that was the case....?)
