Same problem for me with audio F/R balance I am afraid. The front speakers are definitely connected but the volume output is negligible compared to the rears. During normal driving I at first thought the front wasn't even connected. The sound quality is pretty atrocious as well - at least compared to any other car - and to be honest I feel a bit of a mug having paid the extra for it. I don't like to go back and check what it cost becasue it will only upset me

On looking for the amp which the factory said was fitted, my dealer came on a "Musicstream" box which seems to be connected to all speakers -- no sign of the stated Kenwood box so no separate feed to front and rear speakers. Looks like a "cheapie" solution to the issue -- not good when one considers the price of the car!!

So if that is what's installed I am guessing you have the left front and rear spliced in parallel into the left channel so no front to rear and likewise the right. This will load the amp as mentioned earlier and it will run hot as each channel is driving the pair of speakers and driving 2ohm load. Perhaps one option is to replace it with a more complete unit. 1. Amp for four channel with front/rear and left/right individual outputs. 2. Bluetooth input to connect to smartthingy for all music and radio/waze etc. 3. Other inputs in case you do want to wire something in later. 4. Compact to fit into the same place and use the existing speaker cables (or replace them with heavier duty using the existing to pull them through) 5. What are you going to use to trigger it on and off, do you want a manual power or just Bluetooth listen-for-phone as trigger. You may want to inspect the power feed as a result. Ensure there is a good fuse in line even if there is one on the amp! https://youtu.be/qj4BqMXHCtQ (warning - among the most annoying background music and presenter combo I have seen in ages....) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Soundstream-ST4-1000DB-Stealth-Channel-Amplifier/dp/B01B9KH1S8Might be an example but not specifically a recommendation. Just to see if this is down the right track?

Hello,
I can confirm that "musicstream" is what you are connecting to with your smartphone. The Internet suggests that this is an Isimple unit you are connecting to.
But honestly, my Roadster did not have any audio, so I really enjoy to listen to some music every now and then on the more booring drives. Especially so since the PlusSix is to quiet in traffic and on longer trips.
That is all I'm expecting and I think no one will buy a Morgan for it's Audio capabilities.
Regards,
Markus

There is apparently a Kenwood box behind the Left (or passenger side for rhd cars)rear speaker - the Musicstream unit goes via a volume box to the Kenwood amplifier and then to the speakers there is no adjustment on the Kenwood Kac -M1824 as far as I can find out. We haven’t been able to access the Kenwood box as it’s behind the rear speakers and it isn’t clear how to get at it - request to the factory for information has yet to get a reply.
More when I have any update
