As we make the arrangements to go to the meet in St. Tropez, it has been agreed that the time has come for the founder members of the Sidepipe Squadron to sort of formalise things. smile

As the Owner/Director of TalkMorgan, Simon has been made the current Honorary Oberleutnant of the Squadron, but this position will be immediately reviewed if he does not order his next Aero with Sidepipes. innocent

If you would like a membership form to join the Squadron: full membership requires ownership (or past-ownership Michael frown ) of the appropriate vehicle but all applications will be considered on merit and you may be considered to become a FOSS or Friend of the Sidepipe Squadron. So please PM BtG (PM name = Boshly) immediately, as he will no doubt be bombarded with requests from both owners and other enthusiasts to join this not so elite band of founders of this disreputable Squadron. cheers flag

Chocks away, don't waste time PM BtG now... woohoo

Is that 'Boshly' or 'Bolshy' - I do have a hacksaw and some old scaffolding pipe, so the sidepipe may be an option...

Mr Hurst, we are the 'Spitfires' of the 'Morgan World' compared to their 'Lancasters'!

Maybe we can join as 'Fighter Escort' on the corners?

Sorry - wasn't being rude - thought it was a typo, but on checking, no it wasn't!

Camelman:
Agree with 'Spitfires', but perhaps to their F14 'Tomcats' - great big screamingly fast modern jobbies although not as pretty...Perhaps our role is to be 'tail end charlies', thus providing a more complete 'surround sound' for the full 'Morgan exhaust' experience...

BtG,

Do I find an application form here or will you send me one? I'm very interested in becoming a FOSS!

Thanks for the good marketing, Aeroman...

I'm really proud of BtG and the initiative he has shown to start this division of Talk Morgan. Despite the mild distaste I have shown in the past, to the bean inspired noises his side mounted chrome pipes make, on this occasion I'm all for this venture.

Furthermore, am very pleased to see both Aero and Trad drivers embracing the Squadron with equal abandon!

Three cheers for BtG! party

Don't think he will accept my application for 'FOSS', but I have applied anyway.
