Still new to the Morgan venue, but learning.
Is there an aftermarket solution to the doors constantly gravity closing. It sure makes getting in and out difficult. A pair of something to replace those leather straps
with something positive to hold the doors open, and stay open, would be appreciated.

This stainless type as linked by TBM above are now fitted as OE.

They work fine in all but the strongest winds as long as you don't lubricate them. Don't ask how I know this blush

The integrity of the system depends on a good frictional fit between the PVC tube that surrounds the bolt, and the body of the stay. You may be lucky, but it may be necessary to carefully but forcefully squeeze the sides together to achieve the appropriate degree of "stiction" (there are other threads on this on TM).

Agreed:
If you e-mail Librands they will provide new plastic tube, it does wear with time, causing the doors to shut more easily.

Many people have said that adding these has been the most worthwhile thing that has been added to our Morgan

The Librands door checks are great and also allow the door to open wider. Incidentally, I recycled the leather stops by screwing them to the top of the inside of the door to use as a "door pull".

How long to wait though. Been three days since I sent the inquiry.

Is this the only company that makes them?
