Somebody who races a Plus 8 might know. To remove the front springs and take the load through the damper, which is offset, doesn't seem to make much sense to me, but neither would retaining the original springs. At the rear, it would make sense with a trailing arm set up and panhard rod, but to keep the leaf springs - how can it be better? I would want to try one with that kit fitted before I shelled out that much money!!!

Mulfab had their Plus8 at the Gaydon event at the week-end. This is fitted with their front and rear coil suspension which is interesting and no doubt expensive!
The coil overs in the first posting seem confusing......do you still retain the leaf suspension to retain the axle? If so, I just cannot see how the spring rate works!

[/quote considering I built it- I can absolutely guarantee its not a plus 8..... it has a plus 8 badge....
I stand corrected although perhaps you should have explained that you built it when you first commented. Though why on earth would they stick a Plus8 badge on the cowl?
