i agree the black does look gorgeous I also agree the black looks gorgeous - would look even better with the original lights though Love the leather also - Am I brave enough though???? While the black model does show well, the blue isn't to my taste. Does anyone else feel Morgan chose the wrong colour blue for that Aero?

Hi Andy, I think it looks stunning but you're right about being brave - both in terms of resale (read depreciation ) and getting bored of it. I love it and my wife said, those are the perfect colours for you (because I love Halloween ) but we both agreed it was probably a choice you'd regret medium term. [as a side note - I do have the colour/leather names at home if anyone would like me to dig them out] Anyway, I'm just glad to see Morgan being brave with their demo car colours ...I agree with Michael that the blue isn't the best I've seen on an Aero but the black and orange is stunning.

Although saying that, my colour is mettalic black with a great background sparkle (cant think of a better way to describe it) but I have been thinking of ways to brighten it up without losing the 'evilness' of it. Was thinking of deep wine metallic wings (ala Veyron scheme) but must admit love the orange leather. Would a rich tan be a bit safer???
[Andy, I apologise! I hit edit rather than quote and have butchered your post by mistake... ... sorry! I did try to recover it but it's gone because I over-typed it! ]

Here is what I meant to post in respect to your post...
Andy, the colour used above sounds similar to your own (it is Aston Martin Black Metallic - it actually has a very obvious silver fleck in the paint. It looks awesome in the metal)
I don't think black is a bad choice for the Aero but I do think the orange leather will limit you come resale. This is, of course, my humble opinion but I'm sure we've all had that "hmmmn...." from the dealer when you come to trade a car in and you've been a little daring when choosing the colour and interior trim
I think the Veyron red/black colour scheme is great - with biscuit leather (there is a car for sale on Mogan's site at the moment). And yes, I do think tan/biscuit is safer than orange - in fact, it would be a stunning choice.
Do you have any pictures of your car? I'd love to see them.
As for the evilness... it's funny you say that. As I said, my wife saw the black and orange Aero and said, "that is your car!" but what I left out is that I already have a personal reg that spells EVIL ... this has been waiting to go on a black car for the last 2-years
I even considered calling RTCC and asking if it was too late to change my car over to this colour choice when I saw the photos... however, my fear of te "hmmn..." come resale and my love of the colour I've chosen warded the evil off this time!

Hi Simon Sooo, editting my posts already... No pics but have a look here, doesnt do the cars colour justice though. Seeing as it was Geneva 2005 show car I would guess it is the same colour as you quote? http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?t=275820&f=80&h=0Naturally I have those pics at home on my PC, if you want larger res, alternatively will get many more in St Tropez!!! Cheers Andy

Andy,
VERY nice!
One of my favourite colours is a BMW black called Ruby Black Metallic (it is a black with a red metallic fleck - in most lights it looks black but when the sun is out (rare for us), it gets a beautiful cabarnet tint).
As for editing your posts... nope, not yet!
My only excuse is that it's been a long day - including a fee marathon meetings - and I'm tired
Need and to relax

Now that, with a deep Red interior sounds nice!! AA
