....and its image? TV advertisement is an obvious route, but its expensive! The other one is product placement in a movie, one particular movie that I could think of would be James Bond. I know nothing about movie industries, by providing cars to the film set, would MMC also need to pay them as well? If not, then surely this would be a cheap way to expose MMC to the world and raise its pulic profile and its image

hence the reason for the trads to be so much more popular It may be time for Aero S3 to be featured in a James Bond movie, and it might capture public's imaginations

I think the amount of money paid by FORD in sponsorship on the last film would prevent any other manufacturer getting a look in.
Although in Casino Royal there were a fair few Bentleys in the background of the Casino - guess VAG group had a deal with teh Casino or something...
Be interesting now Aston is sold whether FORD still owns the 'car rights' to Bond, and whether we'll see 007 in a Jag or a Mustang.. (certainly made sure he drove a Mondeo in Casino Royal in farcical advert style...)

Now days car manufactures pay BIG money for 'placement'. This does not only apply to car maufactures: watches, drinks, hotel chains, airlines, anything really. Hence the reason Bond drive a BMW in some films.
So it will be for Aston Martin to pay for the next placement in a Bond file.
In the '60, when the proper Italian Job was filmed, the film company had to pay for its own minis. No discount was given.
So, sadly I can not see MMC ever having the cash for a Bond film.

One sure way.. would/could be to build a giant killer.
Quality, opulance and power.
In the age of stripped out range toppers this has to be the time where Morgan can make good. With reletively little ammendments Morgan could put onto the street a 911 GT3 RS / lamborghini superleggera competitor in the shape of the Aero GT2/3.
It only needs to be enough to trounce them once.. (not saying that Morgans are a one hit wonder) but at least it would get some good old british... underdog PR. Bloody their nose a bit.
After the debacle the Aston N24 recieved from TG Episode 1 2007.. Morgan could easily slot in there as the Great British riposte to Johnny Foreigner.

Maybe a race series for Aero 8s only or Aeromax only was an idea (like the McLaren F 1 race series). MMC could sell, prepare (and repair) the race cars and get some public awareness.

The only problem with a closed race series is that nobody really notices it's going on (ala. Morgan lightweight challenge) and TBH the general public is only bothered about which cars are faster than Porsche, Ferrari et. al.
Most have not heard of Morgan and only really pay attention when something up-sets the usual heirachy of bar-stool top trumps.

Product placement in console games would also count toward brand awareness, esp with young people.
