1976 911

This is going to become my daily driver very shortly - replacing a 2002 BMW 7 Series. Always wanted a 911, and this is very similar to a car I used to see as a 6 or 7 year old in my village that I drooled over.

Will be a definite culture shock (especially the 915 box - back to double declutching!) but I can't wait. All I can say is that I have a very understanding wife. Thanks mrs_t smile

So many giggles come to mind, in jest.

Is there a glitter ball hanging from the mirror.
Does the 8 track only play disco.
I can post my spare chest wig and medallion from the last christmas fancy dress party if by some unlikely chance you don't happen to have one.

8^)

Oh, and it looks cool.

Cool car in cool vintage color! Very nice!

What about a change to a set of contemporary Fuchs-wheels with the inner star in matte black and a silver/polished rim well? shades

Kind regards,

George

I had a 1967 912 for many years as my only car and daily driver. It lacked a bit of poke but more than made up for it in charm and looks. I always planned to replace it with a late 60s 911 but given where prices of these early cars have gone recently I'm not sure that is going to happen.

I am not the greatest fan of the 911, but your car looks super.

I have chest rug already, and have medallion on order. 8 track has Bony M stuck in it so I shall be driving along singing RA RA Rasputin..

Have thought about Fuchs. 3500 for a set of real ones!

You could probably find some on ebay for less than that, for example....

Many congrats on the car. That is one fine looking Porker. I like the early ones (before the shape started getting all bloated) very much indeed.
