JP, congratulations again! It really is a wonderful colour - in the photos it looks almost like a dark purple with a hint of burgundy. A truly special colour and a great choice. Enjoy your new Morgan.

Very nice. Similar look to the Almadine Black I had on my S class.
Have you another picture of the headrest pads? I'm having some made at the moment for mine.

Stunning colour! The drive back to Geneva must have been equally impressive. Have lots of fun with it.

Dear Brian, The colour is a mix between Copper and Brown with a strong metallic touch. This is a Lexus colour and was developped only for the Australian and Middle Eastern countries. Actually, very rare as it is not a standard colour but on request. In the Middle East, car owners prefer the white than darker colours. It shines a lot when lit by the sun and in reality it often turns to be much lighter than on the picture. This colour is deep and varies greatly depending on the brightness but does not have a pearl effect. Previously, I have driven Caterham and Donkervoort which are extreme cars. In the Aero 8 I feel like sitting in a fast yacht. In fact, the feeling is personal and it all depends what one used to drive before the Aero 8. Usually, my favorite playground is the mountain but I did not have the chance to test it there. So I still have to explore the driving feeling in tiny bends. However, the car is fast and the speed can be achieved effortlessly. I do not find it demanding when driven fast on easy road. The only strange feeling is the lack of precision of the steering wheel around the Zero point (when the wheels are straight). When entering fast in a roundabout I have to correct the turning point because of this "floating" effect. Do you see what I mean ? I am desperately waiting for my 4 exhaust pipes which I miss a lot at present time. The car is soundless. 50 % of the pleasure is missing. Well, those are my first impressions at the wheel for the time being. Very happy of this acquisition in any case ! Hope to see you soon. Cheers JP Hi JP, Just been up to the factory today and they are still talking about the colour of your car. Overall, one of the best colour choices of recent Aero 8's imho and it's difficult to be original with Aero colours these days. An Aero is quite a change from either Caterham's and a Donkervoort, I never driven one of those, but I am sure that as you say the Donk is much more extreme. I agree with you on the steering of the Aero's, including also the first Series I as well, and I've always felt as you say that the turn-in is not as precise as you would expect. Though overall, the Series IV feels better balanced than the earlier cars due to the changed position of the fuel tank, though this must also raise the roll-centre slightly. I have found after a while you do get used to the steering on Aero's and drive 'around it'. This is really only the one weak point of the handling, the brakes are great and the auto book works well; though personally I would like flippers behind the steering wheel for sports mode. I am sure that the four-branch exhaust will make a difference, though I'm a committed member of the Side-Pipe Squadron! As you're at Silverstone, I look forward to seeing you there and seeing you new car and catching up on all the news. Cheers Brian
