Parts!
To continuing sage of ordering, receiving, and installing parts on my 2019 +4 continues. Orders placed prior to the shutdown have yet to be shipped from MMC, Moto-Lita, and Morgan Spares, so my beauty is resting comfortably in a well lighted, heated, out of the way place at Morgan Mid-Atlantic. She (assuming gender) is not lonely as the great folks there; Diego, Jake, Jerry, and Jeff assure her (and me) that once the stuff arrives she will be moved front and center to (finally) be completed. (Oh yes, and the fact that the State of Pennsylvania has yet to open up their Department of Licensing means that even if all the parts arrive, the car still needs to be titled and licensed.)

And the beat goes on... that is a long wait Tom.. I was hoping to go there, pick it up, and drive back to Seattle....about 3,500 miles...avoiding the Interstate Highways....(so as to break in the engine at something appropriate)

I hope the wait isn't too long Too long?....I think that ship has sailed. I get that it is no ones fault...COVID-19 has thrown everything and everyone into a frenzy. I just have to put all this in perspective....if this is all I have to worry about...I'm in great shape.

I have the same case but only because it was a freebie. There should be leather straps with harness to go with it, although I still needed bungee spider to stop it exiting rack sideways. Looks great without the waterproof? cover on. When packed full you get a lovely smooth ride from the rear.

Looks great without the waterproof? cover on. When packed full you get a lovely smooth ride from the rear. There is, not pictured, an H shaped harness that is intended to secure the bag to the rack. Any suggestions on how to lock it down? I've been looking at 6' cable bike locks as a possible solution. Tom

Finger crossed that you don´t have to wait much longer for your first trip. Am advised that we should be able to launch within the next two weeks....are you not on the distribution list of folks that will be receiving daily emails from the road?

Have a safe trip! Lots of photos and lots to see.
Do you have an itinerary with the high points? The Black Hills, Great Lakes? Or the Southwest?

I was hoping to go there, pick it up, and drive back to Seattle....about 3,500 miles...avoiding the Interstate Highways....(so as to break in the engine at something appropriate) We drove from Virginia to Seattle in 2013 and did it to quickly and missed a few things that would have been nice. Were were trying to get up into Alberta Province and back down into Seattle but late snow stopped us. Missed Lake Louise and Banff but also missed the things in the States because we were trying to be in sync with the reservations. We did get to drive The Dragon into Tennessee coming from the Vanderbilt Estate in North Carolina. Man, that place makes Hearst Castle look like an unimproved campground. We zipped through Kansas and those seemingly flat states and stopped to see Mt. Rushmore but sadly missed Crazy Horse. Went through Sturgis and saw Devils Tower along the way. A fun trip in April before the tourists got on the roads. Now with Covid the roads might be less congested. Have a safe trip.
