The Aldermog was made with the speedo nearest the driver and the 3 dial unit on the passenger side.
It is OK, but I prefer the older "Jaguar" style with speedo and tach in front of the driver and 4 small dials above the buttons, but it seems this isn't easy to achieve with a Roadster. you mean like this one in the Dashboard thread http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/13324/filename/image.jpg

The position of the speedo is down to tradition I think. Daft place to put it in my view! I ended up relying on the rev counter to check speed in my 4/4 and it was only when I took the dash off my Roadster that I realised the speedo and three cluster dial could be swopped round easily. ------------- That made me smile since I went to the trouble of putting the speedo way over on the left so that I could see it!

A quick photo of my set up. Tried to get the drivers view of the speedo which lets me see all the legal speeds!
