If you want to get more clothes in a suitcase you can buy these plastic envelopes which allows the air to be extracted and condenses everything down to a much smaller size. It also keeps everything perfectly dry should you be caught in a heavy rain shower or like today, a monsoon.. Used these on a recent trip to East Sussex and was very impressed.
