Same for Me but where Dave uses Pipe insulation I use a Full Length Folded Over to 6ins wide and then stitched around Hand Towel

On the trip I skinned the same finger many times. I found it was the sharp edge of the Under Scuttle Liner which protrudes about 1mm below the Dashboard. This was happening when I changed gear. I started wearing my driving gloves but one of the holes fell in the same spot. Final solution was keep the Plasters on.
Which reminds me I still have to fix that sharp edge
