Well, I now have my new (ex cerealsurfer) tubular manifold and sporty exhaust fitted and it sounds fab, but I notice that the (wrapped) down pipes are quite close to the starter motor.
Should I be thinking about some form of heat shield between, there is maybe an inch gap between the body of the stater and the pipes, and a little less between the wire that runs along the top of the starter.
any thoughts, or suggestions welcome....
