Now back in Sweden. Arrived in Copenhagen at 1540 this afternoon. Sunshine and 22 C. Very nice return!
On my stay in the Ayr area I did not saw a Morgan for the whole week. They are even more frequently where I live in southern Sweden, close to Denmark. A lot of later Bentleys, a few later MG:s and on Prestwick GC there was a 50-ies Bentley fastback on the parking place. A lot of Miatas of course and several Aston Martins. I was a little disappointed. The weather was not bad, at least not for an enthusiast. However we were not driving very often on the smaller roads were it would be more likely to meet a Morgan. I do not like myself to drive on motorways and dual carriageways. So, I think there would be a few Morgans out if we hade chosen smaller roads. Anyway, I loved to come back to UK and the links courses were superb even if the results on the courses not was the same.
I was a little bit interested to go to the Boness hill climb, but my golf friend was not so keen.
