Thanks for confirming both the age and the type of car which had been in some doubt from previous articles, Sheila Hancock herself describes it as a two seater in her book. She apparently bought it new and reluctantly eventually sold it to a dealer when she needed a more family friendly car, so I guess you are only the second owner?

TV Times "twin", sent me a PM to say he still owns his 4-4 which was also undergoing a rebuild.
