Been several cases in Australia of serious accidents caused by a motorcyclist in collision with a kookaburra. If you have ever seen the size and shape of a kookaburra's beak it doesn't bare thinking about. I had a very closer encounter with an eagle on one trip (just clipped his wing without any consequences for either of us) and a friend managed to stay upright after bowling over an emu on the same trip. The emu survived too.
