I would like to think so Graham, but calculating the energy expended for say a 4/4 against, say a small, locally/regionally built mass produced car would be challenging to do...could actually be a close competition with efficiencies in mass production these days. It all depends how you calculate it, I guess.

One thing I really like about the Morgan's construction is the purity of it's components, making it so easy to recycle....the only trouble with that potential benefit is that very few are recycled.....they just get referbished and carry on giving mobility and great pleasure !
