An alternative thought idea .

My Mog suffers from the bonnet curves being shallower than the Grill & Scuttle Body Curves causing Metal to Metal rubbing.

I recently fitted 10cm long x 1.5cm square strips of Neoprene Sponge (Some Recycled Packing) to the inside edges of the bonnet curves using double sided adhesive strips to pack out and lift the bonnet.

It seems to work so far and suddenly, some mysterious rattles have also disappeared.
