Hello John, my 2 week old car has 'drive-train noises' too. A squeaky chirruping sound from what sounds like near the gearbox, and a rattling zizzing vibration from what seems like behind the dashboard. Not serious problems but seriously annoying!
There are also belt noises and some bevel box noise, although this is a good deal less than some early cars I sampled.
Suspension is quiet apart from when the steering arm hits the exhaust pipe (which is a bigger problem on my car on the nearside).
I've got the new steering rack which provides loads of feedback with less kickback (at least mine is acceptable) but the steering gets very nervous at about 60 mph and I can't see how toe in / out can be adjusted!
Having said all that I love the little thing, and look forward to getting these issues sorted out.
