To put things into context, I've had 2 X5s - both with valvetronic engines: - one a 4.4 Sport and the other the more aggressive 4.8is - both had the BMW V8 (the 4.4 the exact same as the Aero engine and obviously the 4.8 being a more 'tuned' and slightly larger displacement version of the same V8).

Both were driven VERY hard and daily - the 4.4 ended up 'asking' (due to variable servicing) at over 16,000 miles and the 4.8is was nearly 19,000

These are tough engines and I'd love to know why (or what Morgan have done) that makes them believe they need servicing every 5,000 miles? Surely they are servicing the non-engine bits, rather than a V8 service? As I don't have an owners manual yet, I'm none the wiser...
