Have a look very very carefully at JE and then have a look at BAS or Alive.
My 90 is used as transport between Jersey and the mountain villages of Andalucia. For me the performance is fine (at the moment) and the suspension and brakes do not need sorting. In the mountains and the tiny roads of Spain I cannot imagine a better vehicle, but for the motorway journey up and down, I have added sound proofing and may add a better ICE and, god forbid, cruise control and even perhaps some leather. I may be Cheshirising it, but on the other hand, I am slowly developing the car to my requirements, A (largely) hand made car, made in Britain has been sold, and I am spending a few quid with specialist British aftermarket suppliers.
So why didn't I buy a Disco or RRS then? Same reason that I bought a +8 and not a Boxster
