Loads of classic owners seem to complain about the crappy standard mirrors and some replace them even without rust.
My dealer advised I change them when I picked up my car because of poor adjustment.
It's such a cheap easy fix for MMC and would improve customer satisfaction at a stroke.
Why are they prattling about with bikes, while ignoring something as daft as this problem - we should not be discussing rusty, piss poor mirrors in a nearly new car.
I agree 100%
I have just replaced mine too. To have a near side mirror that can not be adjusted correctly is just ridiculous.
One problem, for Morgan, is that the mirrors have to be homologated and stamped with the homologation number. I notice my new mirrors do not have any number stamped on them. I doubt any inspector would ever look at it but non homologated mirrors could cause problems in some countries.
