Key points to save weight - add to this list if you can think of any!
1. Seats - not sure what the standard items weigh, but it's a lot. Carbon seats come in at around about 3-4kg each, plus a few brackets to mount. Figure you coudl save 10kg per chair perhaps.
2. Hood - surely the metal poles in the hood could be replaced with carbon ones, similar strength, but less weight.
