Yep I've come across the low mileage vs high mileage cars many times when looking at performance cars. Add in to the mix how the car has been driven in those miles, also makes a big difference.
I think it's more important a car is used on a regular basis, to a point where the engine, transmission etc have oils up to temperature, before stressing the car.
Good to hear that there is a mix of views though, as at last it means whichever car I end up will hopefully appeal to someone if/when it comes round to resale.
