It's a LHD early chassis... although you can't see the back the front bracketry is not from a Mk3 (or newer) and judging by the rest of the tub it's for a Mk1.
I have pics of a Mk3 tub for comparison, the front end is markedly different... on that basis I would also rule it out as a Mk2 tub.
Oddly, the newer chassis are made for both LHD and RHD and you just fit the components you need.... looking at the differences, it does not seem (caviat) that diffidult to make it a RHD if you wanted to.
