I don't think it can work on a left hand drive car. I have long legs and tend to slide the toe of my shoe under the clutch pedal. I put a nice scratch on the toe of a brand new pair of shoes because there is some absolutely useless bracket welded to the arm under the pedal banghead

It is now covered in heatshrink tube.
