Unfortunately, I think the time has come allow someone else to enjoy my lovely red Morgan, complete with solid wooden dash, black ambla interior, leather rimmed moto lita steering wheel. I have owned it for nearly 4 years. In that time it has been in regular use, I have done 40k of the total mileage (58300) which I believe to be accurate. I have old MOTs to support this. It has a good service history and in my ownership has had a number of replacement parts. It has 4 matching continental CT22 tyres which went on just after I bought the car (it had its original tyres on at the time) these still have a good amount of tread. Its just had new brake pads. In 2010 piston rings were replaced, which meant the engine came out and was checked over to make sure were no other issues that could be dealt with at the same time. In 2011 the king pins were replaced and also the front suspension was updated with "rutherford" spec springs and adjustable AVO shocks. in 2012, a K&N air filter was installed and a full stainless steel sport exhaust, including tubular manifold, I understand this is a Harpers system 8. The combination of front end suspension mods and better breathing cvh engine has transformed the car and it makes it huge fun to punt along when the opportunity arises. The car was professionally waxoyled last winter, the bodywork is in good condition for its age, the red paint polishes up very well I am reluctantly selling the car, as the kids are getting bigger and its a struggle to fit us all in these days, plus my work pattern means we dont have so many opportunities to enjoy it. Taxed until feb'14 and its off for a service and MOT this week - so should be good to Aug 2014.
Its currently insured on an agreed value of £17k
Offers at around that level would be listened to PM me if you would like some photos or any other info
