I had a very good friend from Durham who had always had sports bikes.
He moved in with a young lady and it got serious. She was very happy and they stayed together. After five years hints were being dropped. Marriage. Sell the bikes to make room in the garage. Decorate......you know the score.
He had a fabulous line when the discussion came to the bikes. All he would say was "Don't make me choose". At seven years the stakes were raised. Anyway - he still has the bikes, you can work out the rest.
I say this as a brave man (on line) also knowing his priorities and choosing to make the good lady the lead one (but she may not always agree sadly).
Life is a complex series of decisions. Make them, embrace them and deal with the rest.
