Yes, it is. Will still miss the simplicity of a 70s car though!
A couple of pointers on the new one - it is too low a mileage really - 14,500 in 20 years - but that's a good excuse to get a good number of miles in over the next couple of months. The grey 'neverflex' hood still has chalk marks on it, probably from the factory when it was manufactured. Car has hood swivels (so will sell off a pair I already have 'in stock') already fitted, but we're not sure why, the guy just doesn't seem to have used hood, or sidescreens. The giveaway on the sidescreens is that they're wrapped in newspaper in the screen bag: The Times, from 1998 - they probably hadn't seen daylight for 15 years until we took them out to check last Friday.
It's obvious the owner loved his car, though at some stage one of the front bumper brackets has got bent (easy enough to sort out, carefully

).
So tonight, I start removing some of my personal markers on RTA - windscreen stickers, badge bar (have an empty one from Tinkerbelle the +4) that will fit instead, the direct battery connnection for the C-Tek charger, and my multiway accessory socket in the glove compartment etc.
Cheers,
