And now..............compare to the first post

Arrived at BHM around 9.10 after an easy run down of just under 3 hours. Noted that there was an airshow at Duxford, and Burghley Horse trials on the A1, so returned clockwise round the M25 and north up the M1. BHM were expecting a contingent of Dutch Mogs, so had cleared the forecourt.
How you southern chaps cope with the M25 is beyond me. The first 30 miles were pitifully slow. Anyway, arrived home at 14.45 approx. Bumble ran very well, and used just over half a tank of fuel. Early observations - obviously not as grunty as the Roadster but will hold an indicated 80 without problem. More bouncy over speed bumps and badly potholed roads, and the exhaust is slightly boomy at certain revs, but I'm delighted with it. Not as draughty as the Roadster, even without a windstop. That must be to do with the aerodynamics of the lowered hood. Lots to do obviously and the work will start as soon as possible - maybe next weekend!!!!!!!

No sign of Grahams car - tucked away somewhere.
