I bolted my H-D rectifier directly to the frame without any rubber shock absorbers and it has performed flawlessly! This was after the Cycle Electric unit imploded for no apparent reason and left me stranded in the boondocks. The fact that I live in the boondocks should not set anyone off.
The thing is it works. Without cushions.
