After a visit to the Morgan garage nearby I have decided to keep the cat, Melvyn reckoned it is a V8 silencer on my little 1.6 Mog; the cost to replace this with a quieter system is about the same as that from the exhaust specialist in Basildon so next Thursday the change will be made by Hayward & Scott.
