At the risk of being a nuisance I have yet another question.
After reading Dave's article in the latest Miscellany I decided to have an inspection of the front indicator lights and the fog and reversing lights.
Dave said in the article that the front indicators were prone to spray and sometimes filled with water. How right he was, one of the bulbs was totally rusted into the holder and had to be extracted with brute force (hammer and pliers)I did manage to save the holder though.
I then thought it may be an idea to inspect the fog and reversing lights. I managed to unscrew them but the whole fitment unscrewed. The lens seems to be held on to the fitment with rivets or studs and not the usual screws. As far as I can see there is no way of removing the lens to replace the bulb. Surely I don't bin the whole unit if a bulb or a lens needs replacing?
Any advice would be very gratefully received.
