Phil, I followed the link to the previous thread, interesting.

My wheels are old ('83) chrome wires so I assume that they will not take tubeless which retricts me to finding new, old design tyres from specialist suppliers as I'm told that modern tubeless tyres cannot run with tubes as the internal ridges of the tyre chew up the tubes. This means that the Firestones mentioned in the thread will not be right.

anybody out there with a tried and tested solution?
