Have you been in touch with Quentin, it really is worth contacting him for this very reason.
I was advised to contact Quentin early 2012, he provisionally booked me in with the intent of placing me in a Hotel approx 20km away from the event, but suggested that people and teams DO drop out, within a matter of weeks he had upgraded me to the Arbor on the Le moulin straight and it was worth every penny, this also now gives me automatic option to book in advance for 2014 as I have done.
It's worth an Email of anyone's money.
