It was only when mine fell off on the 4/4 that I discovered how it was fitted! Also discovered that it's made by Richbrook. I replaced it with one of their slimmer models, the same style as the Roadster Gear Knob sold in the factory shop. I'll do the same on my current car at some stage as I think the standard knob is too bulky and I'm not keen on the alloy finish.
