Like many others I cut my driving teeth on a Mini (1959 Austin Tartan Red 3479 UK). Wince every time I see the BMW job. No doubt a fine car but not a Mini.

I'm a convert. It's a great car, 'tho no relation to the Mini's I owned in my youth. In particular I had a 1968 Morris Cooper MkII called Linda which I remember with real fondness. Would be worth decent money now too....
