Good find  The second thing is actually good news. I've found something that stops my sidescreens misting. It was a moment of "I wonder if....." So what's the magic potion? Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover (of all things). It's a strong distillate of something or other and the label says it removes silicon and other stuff. It went on well, didn't affect the perspex, and after several days they have remained clear.
