On classic Mogs, there were/are a number of aftermarket solutions to modifying the wide open glove box. On my previous classics, I have fitted two such alternative dashboards in order to have a lockable glove box.
The question is ....... Has anyone seen or done a lockable glove box for the Aero ……… I’m loving my Series 3, and plan to do a fair amount of touring this year, but would like a lockable box in which to keep the Garmin, camera, paperwork etc when just parked up. It would be nice to have a lockable glove box as I’m not sure that the other half
likes the foot well lockbox, although this may well be the answer.
Knowing that the boot is easily popped from the pull opener in the car, I don’t really trust the boot to be secure for any period of time.
Your thoughts and suggestions would be welcome ……..
