Nice idea Gerry, I do something similar, by fitting the screw in it's thread finger tight to align the bezel to it's position.
It's also a good time to replace the Screw with a New Stainless screw.
You will also need a 90* screw driver ratchet is preferable like this

When bezel is removed only ONE screw holds the lens in place (at about 20 minutes past the hour) , the other two in the 'forks' are for adjusting the beam do not screw.
