So last night I managed to get round to washing the car. This gave rose to a couple more "interesting" points:
- The car most defintitely has some paint protection/wax on it. The water beads beautifully and dirt lifts off with no problems at all.
- Some careless individual had brushed past the car and lightly scuffed the laquer. 5 seconds with a microfibre and some Sonax Nano and it was all sparkly and new again.

I have come to the conclusion that "knowing" a car's paintwork is a continually depressing experience. Each time it gets washed I notice a new imperfection.

On the flipside of that - driving home from work yesterday and it felt amazing - it puts a smile on my face with consumate ease!
