The Alfa has excellent parking sensors and I have really become accustomed to using them. The only trouble is that they also sense to the side in some way so that if the front end or the mirrors, I'm not sure what, starts getting close to something it also beeps. This leads to a sort of false alarm. As I have just discovered it is dangerous to ignore it. I was backing between rows of cars in a car park a few weeks back and watching the cars on my passenger side when some git drove in behind me in my driver's side blind spot and stopped. I thought the beeping was for the parked cars. Crump and about 2K worth of damage.
