Harleys are like Marmite. You either 'get' them or you don't, but they have a heartbeat that no-one else can get near.
I've had six so far, and the one I wish I'd been able to hang on to was a mid-season parts bin special that they called a CrossBones. Springer front end, and softail rear. The only downside was a too wide 200 rear end, but they are now retailing at far more than I paid new!!
I love the eccentricity, the atmosphere & the characters. I hate the connotations with the bad boys, but in all these years have only felt really intimidated once. That was enough, though! Buy me a single malt & I'll tell you all about it..
