Rearview mirror - best thing to use is the glue you can buy from Halfords or any auto supplies shop (made for this very purpose!); however, while it's off, you may want to consider fitting a nice chrome mirror (if you don't like the black plastic OEM one - this was fitted to homologate the car for the USA).

(I can take a better picture if need be but imho the stock mirror (like the gear knob) cheapens the interior of an otherwise brilliant car).
Side windows - I believe there is a way to reset them. I think it is something like holding the switch in the up position for a period of time like 5-10 seconds; however, I'm not 100%. Hopefully someone will come along who is aware!
