Had a problem with my horn on the Ring of Kerry (please don't) the other week.
Not many pot holes in Ireland, but some of the roads are very bumpy. The centre boss dropped out on one bump causing the loose wire to connect on subsequent bumps sounding the horn.
Bit of bluetack cured it.
You know it makes sense!
