I was following this thread with interest (noticing how my modern japanese bikes are of no interest LOL) and I think I'm getting a clearer picture of what people here say when referring to Morgan owners as motorcyclists. Of course the posters here were few but I get the feeling that Morgan lovers also love motorcycles (keeping them; restoring them) but aren't necessarily "bikers" in the sense that don't use a bike (or motorbike, not sure what term to use) in their everyday life.
I suppose the fact that I get bike-compatible weather in my country about 95% of any given year's days helps (I do ride my bike everyday, rain or shine, the entire year, but I'm not sure I'd do it in higher latitudes).
Anyway, I think my biker experience will help me with the M3W. As I've been saying to the mrs., while preparing her for the "journey" on the Brooklands 3W, if she was brave enough - many years ago - to come up with me from Lisbon to Inverness and back in the FJ1200, she will have no problems with a much shorter journey (considering the ferries) on a bike ... with seats and seatbelts
