Re bad running on a 1983 4/4 (cvh engine)
Thanks very much for your kind advice and suggestions, after changing the distributer cap, rotor arm and ignition amplifier, it turned out to be the coil, now it drive like a dream, so I treated it to a new cam belt and tensioner, although I have only driven about 4000 mile in 4 years, It is prudent to change it. Has anyone changed the rocker switches for Lucas toggle switches?
If so how does one wire them up?
