Is motoring journalism a real job?
It certainly isn't mainstream journalism.
So 'a number' of blokes write down their opinions on cars in magazines for 'car nuts', some of whom believe what they read. And they get paid for doing it.
That's how it works.
You can see on here that we all have different opinions about cars, so......
The only opinion I trust about cars is my own..............
Simple as that.
