I had a good look at that photo under a magnifying lense and I don’t buy that just because it is a Roadster engine it is “logical” that it is in a trad chassis! I don't see any part of a trad chassis. Also the sloped bulkhead isn't associated with a Trad.
I disagree, I did not say trad chassis because of the engine, if you look carefully behind the brake, there is a black box section that looks just like a trad chassis rail without the internal wing panel fitted to it. If it is designed to be a new model then I suspect that MMC would want a cost effective and easy to build car and the proven chassis would be the obvious choice, also the Aero chassis is not cheap or the running gear. But I might be wrong.
